Carolina Woman provides Lake Norman with a broad assortment of popular, female-only group exercise classes that meet the needs of both beginners and advanced trainers. More importantly, we guarantee you’ll have fun along the way.

Cycle/Sculpt (CS): 30 minutes of cycling plus 30 minutes of sculpting—the perfect combination to burn fat and tone muscles.

Group Active (GA): Activate your life in just one hour! Incorporating all elements of fitness, Group Active will increase your cardio fitness, build your strength, and improve balance and flexibility. It’s our most versatile class and a great way to get active!

Group Centergy (GC): Grow leaner and stronger as you explore this 60-minute journey of yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi movements. Uplifting music, group dynamics and supportive instructors enable you to center your energy and reduce stress with a smile.

Group Kick (GK): This electric fusion class of martial arts and boxing movements will kick your cardio fitness to the next level, while defining and shaping your body and self-confidence! Energetic music, vibrant instructors, and a group environment will keep you punching, kicking and engaged! (Group Kick Express (GKX) is a 45-minute version of our 60-minute class.)

Group Power (GP): Called the “hour of power”, this 60-minute barbell program strengthens all of your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with lively music and instructors. With basic athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels.

Group Ride (GR): This 60-minute cycling program is geared for anyone who can ride a bike. Pedal in groups, roll over hills, chase the pack, climb mountains and spin your way to burning calories and strengthening your lower body. Motivating music, awesome instructors, and an inspiring group environment let you enjoy the Ride! (Group Ride Express (GRX) is a 45-minute version of our 60-minute class.)

Group Groove (GG): If you can move, you can groove! You'll stomp, wiggle, hip, hop, shimmy, shake, slide, glide and smile your way through this 60-minute fitness dance program. Experience a fusion of club, urban and Latin dance styles with motivating, chart-topping hits and retro classic tunes. Supportive instructors will help you get a move on!

Group Core:  Let's get HARD CORE! Train like an athlete in 30 action packed minutes. A strong core, from your shoulders to your hips, will improve your athletic performance, prevent back pain and give you ripped abs! Motivating instructors and music will coach you through functional and integrated exercises using your body weight, a weight plate, a towel and a platform - all to challenge you like never before.
