And many find that personal training--or fitness coaching as we call it--offers the fastest, most targeted and productive way to reach goals safely and effectively. Furthermore, studies show that when someone becomes involved with a personal trainer, they are 10 times more likely to achieve their goals versus going it alone.
Fitness coaches are for anyone needing guidance, motivation and education in the area of fitness, and they're more affordable than ever. At Carolina Woman, our fitness coaches are nationally certified and relate to you personally. That way, they can establish the ideal path to reach your goals and meet your needs.
As our bodies mature and become accustomed to the same activities over time, it's essential to make modifications that keep us moving toward our fitness goals. With so much misinformation out there, many of us aren't sure how to do that, which is why fitness coaches are so valuable. They'll teach you the correct way to adjust and develop a program that incorporates the most effective mix of what Carolina Woman offers. For some, it may be more cardio and a customized food plan, while for others it may be strength training. Regardless, we're eager to help because, well, we're just plain enthusiastic about fitness!

Our GOLD Membership This membership is for those who desire one on one trainign sessions facilitated by a variety of certified fitness coaches. This membership is recommended to those that want and/or need undivided attention from a fitness coach, a customized workout program to meet their fitness goals and accountability. The sessions may be scheduled whenever a fitness coach is available. Members should call ahead to reserve their appointments. The Gold Membership includes 5 One on One training sessions per month (they do not roll over), UNLIMITED semi-private (groups of up to 4 people) coaching sessions, UNLIMITED interval training sessions * (see Bronze Membership) and UNLIMITED use of the club and group exercise classes.
*Prerequisite includes a FREE fitness asssessment to ensure the participant meets basic fitness requirements for IT sessions.
Our SILVER Membership is for those who desire a new exercise program every day. This membership is recommended for those that enjoy the small group dynamics, more social environment and creat accountability partners. Exercise programs are designed based on each participants fitness level. The sessions may be scheduled whenever a fitness coach is available. Members should call ahead to reserve their appointments.
The Silver Membership includes ULIMITED semi-private coaching session per month, UNLIMITED interval training sessions* (see Bronze Membership) and UNLIMITED use of the club and group exercise classes.
*Prerequisite includes a FREE fitness asssessment to ensure the participant meets basic fitness requirements for IT sessions.
Our BRONZE Membership is for those who desire a team atmosphere while exercising, and whose primary concerns are boosting overall cardiovascular fitness, endurance and fat loss, while maintaining muscle mass. The session format used in this membership is called interval training (IT for short), which is alternating bursts of intense activity with intervals of recovery or lighter activity. Participants rotate through circuits of intense resistance and cardio exercises for a specific duration, or interval, as designated by the fitness coach. This membership is recommended for those in good health and free of injury or special conditions requiring major exercise modifications or a more personalized program. If you require or desire a more specific program and fitness education, the Gold or Silver memberships would be more suitable.
The interval sessions are pre-scheduled, and members should call ahead to reserve their spot in each session, up to one month in advance. The Bronze Membership includes unlimited interval training sessions and unlimited use of the club and group exercise classes.

A LA CARTE COACHING: Additional semi private (small groups of up to 4 participants) sessions can be purchased one month at a time for $159. One on One sessions can be purchased in packages of 4 sessions for $199. the sessions expire 6 weeks from purchase date. Program Designs are also available for women with exercise experience who desire a self-guided exercise program . For $59, they will receive a 50 minute session to perform the entire workout with a fitness coach and a copy of the routine. Members are recommended to fill out their workout program card in order for a fitness coach to write a new program in the future.

SHORT-TERM PROGRAMS are available for fit-minded women seeking solutions in six or eight weeks. These programs are enhancements to our membership options. Those programs are:
Carolina Woman's Skinny Jeans Contest: This eight-week total body makeover program is designed for those who want real results fast, and want them to last. Expect to turn the healthy habits learned during this program into a new lifestyle. Compliant participants are guaranteed to lose up to two pant sizes in just eight weeks. The program includes:
- Unlimited use of the club and group exercise classes for eight weeks
- Initial pre-assessment with fitness coach and a "before" photo
- 16 standardized 50-minute semi-private strength sessions led by a certified fitness coach (2 per week), scheduled at your convenience
- 16 standardized 50-minute semi-private metabolic sessions led by a certified fitness coach (2 per week), pre set schedule.
- Nutrition education including a convenient meal journal with grocery list to guide you when you shop
- One free Recovery Shake per week (8 total)
- High level of accountability and expert facilitation
- "After" photo at program commencement
Fitness Coaching is exactly what I need. How do I sign up? Whether you’re upgrading your current membership or joining Carolina Woman for the first time, signing up for a fitness coaching membership is easy. All memberships last 12 months; however, you may upgrade your membership at any time, or downgrade your membership after 90 days of full dues.
For example, if you sign up for the Group Coaching Membership and decide a month later that you’d like to participate in small group sessions as well, we will be happy to upgrade you to the Gold or Silver Membership immediately. If after 90 days in one of the Fitness Coaching Memberships you prefer to return to a Basic Membership, we will gladly assist you with that. Speak with a Carolina Woman fitness coach to get started.
